To provide a calm, orderly, and supportive environment where every student can reach their full potential during their studies. We promote a culture of Ready, Respectful, and Safe.
2. Student Expectations
Students are expected to:

● Be Respectful: Use appropriate language, follow instructions the first time, and treat staff and peers with kindness.
● Be Safe: Move calmly around the site, keep hands/feet to themselves, and remain in assigned areas.
● Represent the School: Maintain high standards of behaviour when travelling to and from the school.
3. Staff Responsibilities
Staff will maintain a positive environment by:
● Greeting students at the door with warmth.
● Actively “catching” students doing well and providing praise.
● Dealing with poor behaviour calmly and, where possible, in private.
● Modelling the respectful behaviour they expect from students.
4. Rewards & Recognition
We celebrate achievement through:
● Verbal praise and positive phone calls/emails home.
● Certificates or “Student of the Week” awards.
● Reward points or tokens for consistent effort.
5. Sanctions & Consequences
Sanctions are applied fairly and proportionately:
● Level 1 (Minor): Verbal warning and reminder of expectations.
● Level 2 (Persistent): Removal to another class or Headteacher.
● Level 3 (Serious): Formal meeting with parents and potential suspension.
6. Prohibited Items
Students must not bring:
● Dangerous items (knives, matches, lighters).
● Illegal substances, alcohol, vapes, or tobacco.
● Mobile phones.
7. Parent Partnership
Parents are expected to support the school’s implementation of this policy to ensure a productive learning environment for all.
